After a year of using a catheter, without any proper explanation of why it was necessary, even from a consultant at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. I was eventually seen as an outpatient at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy by Mr. Tsafrakidis.He fully explained the situation to me with advice on what treatment was available and an approximate timetable of when it might be carried out. He took time to explain the procedures to me and answered my questions in a way I could understand.This was in total contrast to my previous experience at Qun Mgt hosp. Mr. James Giles

Mr Tsafrakidis is an excellent doctor with good bedside manner . I was really worried before my TURP operation and speaking to him before the operation he was honest about the possible complications and outcome but was also confident about how it would go. The result was beyond my expectations and the aftercare both by Mr Tsafrakidis and the rest of the staff at Broomfield (both recovery ward and dayward) were excellent.

I felt that my prescription was not working well for me. I was relieved when Petros advised me not to take any more and then referred me for an investigation of my bladder. Kept to time schedule reasonably well.
